About the Speaker

Erik Hollnagel is an internationally-recognized specialist in the fields of resilience engineering, system safety, human reliability analysis, cognitive systems engineering, and intelligent man-machine systems. He is the author of more than 500 publications including twenty-eight books, a co-founder and past President of the Resilience Engineering Association and a co-founder of the Resilient Health Care Society, founding Editor of the International Journal of Cognition, Technology & Work, and a member of numerous editorial boards and scientific committees. Erik also serves as Visiting Professorial Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University (Australia), a Visiting Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Study of the Technische Universitat München (Germany), and Professor Emeritus at the Department of Computer and Information Science (IDA) at Linköping University (LIU), Sweden.
